Mobile Casino Web app games

We recently produced four great casino web apps for the small screen. These phone casino games really push the limits of web app animation capability. They work on all iPhones and the iPod touch, plus any Android phone and some Blackberry phones.

When we came to this project there were already games made for older handsets using java to run them. We have redeveloped the graphic design and interface and completely re-written the games to bring them up to date. They now run on smart phones using browser based technology. No need for the Apple app store or Android market place, these mobile casino games run in any full Webkit browser.

The integration to the already existing gaming servers was done using PHP, JSON, Javascript with jquery for the animation and a pinch of HTML5.

Surprisingly the Apple iPhone 4 has a problem with high end javascript. This is particularly noticeable in web apps that are launched from the springboard icon. So, we wrote a special version optimized to run more smoothly on the iPhone 4.

The games also seamlessly integrate to the menu system which combines a unified login system with game user history, rules, deposit and many more functions. Again this part was a challenge as we had to use web technologies to get around the back-end system which was already in place for the older java versions of the casino games.

iPhone app for Tarot and Horoscopes

We have developed a great little Tarot and Horoscope app that is now live in the apple app store. ‘Patty Greehall’s Horoscopes’ has now had a second release and brings in app subscription to the user that wants more from the app. If it’s a daily horoscope you want then this one is for you.

Not only daily horoscopes, but also a tarot reading is available in this app. All 22 of the Major Arcana Tarot Cards have been illustrated from scratch by Taste Consultancy and each card has a neat little explanation so that you can learn the meanings too.
